The journeys that have brought us to this place are as varied and different as the people who gather here. And we believe in the sacred worth of every journey, because it has brought us to this place and time, before God and in fellowship with one another.

we are an inclusive church

Open Hearts.

Open Minds.

Open Doors.

The East Greenwich United Methodist Church strives to be a place of open hearts, open minds, and open doors. We believe in Christ’s commandment to love our neighbor and commit ourselves to be disciples rooted in compassion and caring for one another.

We firmly support, welcome, and offer sanctuary to all people, including those of every gender identity, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, marital and socioeconomic status, age, faith history, education, and physical and mental ability into the full ministry of the church.

While we recognize that there are differences among us, we believe that we can love alike even though we may not think alike. It is in this spirit that we invite all people to join us in our faith journey.
